Jonathan Walker (podcast host, website producer) - I’ve been a big Disney fan ever since I can remember. My family took me to Walt Disney World most summers, so much that I don’t even remember when I learned the layout of Magic Kingdom. It just became second nature to me, kind of like knowing all the words to a song without realizing it. When I was young, my parents separated, and my Dad re-married. My stepmother had almost every Disney animated film on VHS, and I’d watch them all summer long. After reaching the age of being “too cool” for Disney World, I fell in love with it all over again after seeing a Travel Channel show about “Hidden Disney” that featured hidden mickeys. Realizing the level of detail that goes into everything Disney does gave me a new appreciation for what the imagineers do. Ever since then, I’ve been a die-hard park guest, almost always having an annual pass in my wallet. After listening to the MouseTunes podcast and the Meandering Mouse podcast, I got the inspiration to start my own podcast that looked at all things Disney from a different point of view. A view founded in humor. So born was the Mouse Comedy Podcast on October 1, 2007. I wanted to bring together two things that I love, Disney and making people laugh. I now want to bring the same thing to the Mouse Comedy website. So I hope that you like the podcast, and will find the online content just as funny and entertaining.
